1. Where do you currently live in CA and what's special about how you've designed your personal space? My West Hollywood loft is a loving, passionate culmination of the antiques, furnishings and art that I’ve gathered over the years.

This fall, Joie de Vivre will unveil San Francisco's new and improved Hotel Kabuki, a chic, sophisticated boutique destination located in one of the city's most desirable neighborhoods.

1. You’ve been working in the industry for over 20 years — how did you get your start and what inspired you to get into design?I wasn’t formally trained, but I had a passion for beauty, symmetry and architectural detailing from a very young age.

1. What are the qualities that make up your ideal client? What are their values?  Our ideal client has the ability to trust and know we will take care of them to the best of our ability.

1. When did you first know you wanted to be a designer and how do you get your start in the industry? My interest in design started when I was a little girl.
