Tour a San Francisco Condo With a New York State Of Mind

When Lindsay Brier, principal of Anyon Interior Design, and her soon-to-be husband spotted this Pacific Heights condominium during an open house, they knew they had found their new home. “We had looked at many places, and I was sick of the typical railroad layout,” the designer says. “This condo had an unusual floor plan with a grand T-shaped entry. It seemed more like a New York apartment than a San Francisco dwelling.” The classic molding and detailing would prove an interesting foil for her unique mix of antique pieces, contemporary furniture and modern art. Brier remodeled the kitchen and bath and recast the other rooms with paint and furnishings—including a guest bedroom that was reimagined as a nursery for their son, Hawken.
